St. Ambrose Fighting Bee Invitational Results
The Sauk Valley Community College Skyhawks took part in the St. Ambrose Fighting Bee Invitational on Saturday at Crow Creek Park in Bettendorf, Iowa. It was a chilly start on a very hilly course with some tough conditions. The women ran 5000 meters while the men ran 8000 meters.
On the women's side, Haley Weidner led the Skyhawks with a 16th place finish with a time of 20:40. She was followed by Nataleigh Nugent with a time of 22:05 (30th place); Xheneta Beqiri in 22:43 (38th place); and Kelynn Boyle in 24:47 (60th place).
On the men's side, Dylan Pavlak was the top finisher for the Skyhawks with a time of 30:37 in 34th place. He was followed by Dillion Forbeck with a time of 31:00 (40th place); Ruben Leal with a time 32:00 (45th place); and Cameron Gonzalez in 34:27 (59th place).
